Inspired by childhood memories of my grandfather's attic (which always seemed very mysterious), I built an attic in my studio with an old window and paneling. I rented antique toys to dress the set. For atmosphere, I fogged the set with a theatrical fog machine. A single light placed out the window illuminated the faint haze for a very mysterious effect. A doll "ghost" was added with a double exposure technique.
